A law firm seeks a Leveraged Finance Associate to join its Global Finance Group in Dallas. The role involves working on leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, refinancings, and restructuring-related financings.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Lead financing transactions for borrower and lead arranger clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience with syndicated lending or private credit/direct lending.
• Experience representing borrowers or lead arrangers.
• Strong background in sponsor finance or LBO finance preferred.
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Texas or eligibility for admission.

Skills

• Proficient in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong leadership and transaction management skills.
