Duties

• Identify inventions through technical discussions with inventors.
• Conduct novelty and clearance searches to distinguish inventions from current state of the art.
• Draft comprehensive patent applications.
• Collaborate with attorneys to negotiate the scope of rights with the Patent Office.
• Prepare reports and support documentation for patent portfolio management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in computer science or electrical engineering.
• Relevant technical experience in data science, machine learning, AI, IoT, wireless communications, sensors, semiconductors, or optics is a plus.
• Strong technical and excellent writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to technical detail.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
