Profile

Litigation Secretary

The candidate will work closely with partners, associates and other litigation secretaries within the team. Should be detailed oriented and able to multi-task among several on-going transactions. The ideal candidate should have filing experience in Superior, Appellate, Federal (including e-filing) and Supreme Courts. In addition, proficient in calendaring, scheduling administrative hearings, serve legal documents, review legal documents to ensure they are in proper format and contain all necessary portions of related documents for court appearances, prepare trial notebooks and exhibit listings for meetings, court appearances and hearings.

General duties include the preparation of legal documents, with an emphasis on formatting and preparing table of authorities and table of contents, correspondence, client billing, timekeeping, expense reports, client interface, scheduling meetings, conferences, depositions, travel arrangements, answering phones, file maintenance, and a wide variety of other clerical duties as needed.

3 years litigation legal secretary experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Typing speed of 70 wpm. Accuracy in grammar, spelling and punctuation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
