Senior HR Policy Leader
The candidate will join the Employee and Operational Enablement (EOE) team to support the business lines within the World Wide Operations organization. As a senior member of the EOE HR team, will be responsible for US HR Policy across operations network of customer fulfillment and service centers, delivery stations, etc. Lead both the strategy and execution of US HR Policy consolidation, implementation, content creation, etc. as part of the broader World Wide EOE policy team strategy. Identify critical business needs and employee pain points. Analyze input data, customer feedback and local and state specific employment laws to inform policy prioritization. Develop scalable policy solutions that address pain points, while striving for 80% HR policy standardization across US sites. Think big as well as execute at a tactical level to work across businesses and geographies to drive improvements in HR policies, while aligning to the priorities, mechanisms and workflow of the broader EOE team as a way to support both business efficiencies and the employee experience. Partner with Senior HR Leadership, HR Business Partners, Business Leaders, and central stakeholder teams as needed. Share best practices, partner on solutions, test existing mechanisms and continue to improve and support the velocity of the business by ensuring HR policies are easy to understand and easy to implement. Utilize past experience, deep knowledge of employment laws and policies and knowledge of works counsels/unions to inform judgment and policy approach. Build/prioritize US specific policy roadmap and drive the end-to-end tactical execution of key US policy initiatives, including content creation, across the US based business lines. Manage and resolve escalations thoroughly and with appropriate urgency. Manage projects and processes in an environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities. Write monthly business review (MBR) and program review documents as needed. Work with a diverse group of stakeholders across WW Operations, geographic regions as well as central teams to understand processes, policies, when to leverage other mechanisms and to validate effectiveness of policy solutions. Should have a B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources or Business. Master's degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred. J.D., advanced degree, or other specialized training in Employment Law would be an asset. Must have 10+ years of experience in HR policy or compliance work, employee relations, employment law or business. Project management experience and skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results is needed/
