Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, seeks a Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions, with a preference for expertise in representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.

Duties:

• Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
• Represent private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to debt finance matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and opinions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other parties involved in transactions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate debt finance transactions.
• Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions is preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Experience working at an Am Law 100 law firm.
• Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
• Admission to the New York Bar.
