Commercial Real Estate Loan Closing Manager

The candidate will manage the closing process for complex commercial real estate loans secured by properties located throughout the United States, including loans that originated directly with the borrower as well as loans that originated as part of larger syndication. Lead communication and collaboration efforts with all parties involved in the transaction such as lead lenders, participant banks, outside legal counsel, title companies, insurance agencies, relationship managers, and borrowers. Engage outside legal counsel to assist in the preparation of loan documentation. Review draft loan documents to ensure accuracy and consistency with bank expectations and to make recommendations for changes to the final draft as appropriate. Coordinate loan boarding and funding activities to ensure a timely and accurate closing process. Ensure that all control procedures are followed throughout the closing and funding process. Conduct follow-up to resolve any post-closing issues. Lead efforts to satisfy all bank loan closing requirements and regulatory requirements. Assist in the creation and clearing of ongoing exception tracking for all loans in CRE portfolio. Provide backup to CRE loan operations as needed. Other duties as assigned.
