Real Estate Counsel
The candidate will prepare, review and negotiate sophisticated lease agreements, lease amendments, letters of intent, REA documents, SNDAs, estoppels, consent letters and other real estate legal documents that accurately reflect the business terms negotiated by the Company and which mitigate risks to the Company. Define and break down complex legal issues, identify and evaluate legal risks, recommend a course of action, and develop solutions and solve problems related to the Company’s real estate portfolio. Review, analyze and effectively summarize lease provisions, REA documents and other real estate agreements. Work closely with business clients throughout stages of real estate transactions. Supervise and interface with outside law firms to which real estate legal matters have been assigned. Develop policies, procedures and training to ensure compliance with lease requirements. Provide expert legal advice and counsel to the Company on all real estate matters.
