Duties

• Manage a docket of personal injury cases.
• File lawsuits and conduct depositions.
• Draft and answer discovery.
• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials.
• Evaluate claims in collaboration with claims representatives.
• Work with paralegals and legal secretaries to coordinate discovery and trial preparation.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Graduated from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.
• 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Strong litigation skills, including discovery and trial preparation.
• Effective communication and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with strong negotiating skills.

Education

• Doctor of Law degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
