Duties

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters, including motions and trials.

• Handle a diverse range of commercial cases, with a focus on business disputes, construction defects (preferred), and related litigation matters.

• Develop and execute strategies for managing litigation cases from inception to resolution.

• Supervise client contact and maintain client relationships throughout the litigation process.

• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff in litigation processes.

• Manage a diverse caseload, balancing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and responsiveness.

• Drive business development efforts and expand a portable book of business.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with demonstrated trial experience.

• Proven business development experience, including a portable book of business with growth potential.

• Ability to manage complex litigation files and provide leadership in client interactions.

• Expertise in arguing motions and conducting trials.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet multiple deadlines.

• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent client service skills.

• Experience with construction defect litigation is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
