A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its Orlando, FL office. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of workers' compensation defense matters and collaborate with experienced attorneys throughout the litigation process.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Provide legal analysis and case strategy recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and timely billing entries.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (or expected).
• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar (or pending admission).
• 0-5 years of experience (workers' compensation experience a plus, but not required).
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
