Duties

• Handle cases from inception through trial, including drafting discovery pleadings and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in client intake and trial preparation.
• Formulate case strategy and advise clients on risk mitigation.
• Conduct legal research and manage the discovery process.
• Supervise junior attorneys and staff on document review projects.
• Engage in mediation and arbitration processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts.
• First or second chair trial experience required.
• Experience with drafting complex pleadings and motions.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.

Education

• Bachelor's degree and J.D. Degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice and in good standing in the state of Florida.
