Duties

  • Manage a broad range of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts and arbitration forums nationwide.
  • Handle aspects of complex civil litigation, including client communications, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, mediations, and negotiating settlements.
  • Take and defend fact and expert depositions.

Requirements

  • Desire to take on substantive and leading roles in cases, including attendance at hearings, depositions, and trial.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and exceptional research skills.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a commitment to excellence and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver timely, quality assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • Currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year required.
  • 1+ years experience in civil litigation.
  • Experience in complex business litigation, product liability, and other tort litigation preferred but not required.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Active bar license in Nebraska or eligibility for admission within one year.
