Job Overview: A law firm in Tampa, FL, seeks a Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. Experience representing private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, or lenders providing financing to such entities in leveraged buyouts and other acquisition financing transactions is preferred.

Duties:

• Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
• Represent private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, or lenders providing financing in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and transactional documents.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate debt finance.
• Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Am Law 100 law firm experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
• FL Bar admission.
