Spring Internship

Student should have excellent academic credentials, good writing skills and basic knowledge of federal Indian law. Will gain firsthand experience in working on challenging projects and cases principally involving issues of federal Indian law. Work closely with attorneys in the Office of Tribal Justice on a variety of diverse projects. Work may include legal research, drafting legal memoranda, public policy development, citizen correspondence and briefs on a wide range of federal Indian law issues. Also, interns may have the opportunity to attend Congressional committee hearings, oral arguments before the Supreme Court, and high-level meetings with OTJ attorneys. 2ls can apply.

Duration: January - April.

Deadline October 15.
