Senior Case Manager
Duties: Assist in resolving commercial leasing matters, including managing Serengeti Legal Tracker for all matters, processing lease settlements, drafting correspondence and agreements and assisting with litigation as needed. Assist in tracking lease terminations, closed stores, relocations and restaurant purchases. This position will also provide some administrative support including processing wires, mailing of correspondence and ad hoc reporting projects. Open litigation matters in Legal Tracker, calendaring pertinent response/default dates, as well as updating each file as cases proceed. Assist with litigation including e-filing new matters, tracking dates, sending out default notices and other non-comprehensive pleadings. Work with marshals on service, processing invoices and court filing fees. Assist in drafting standard termination or settlement agreements and facilitate the transmission of agreements through DocuSign, as well as drafting other types of legal correspondence and letters. Coordinate with the Business Development Agent (“BDA”) team for status of locations or plans for locations, including arranging for escrow of closing costs and reviewing store closing in the case of non-renewals. Liaise with local counsel to assign and manage cases. Process check/wire transfer requests. Mail correspondence and keep appropriate tracking. Ad hoc reporting.
