Duties

• Represent secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
• Handle creditor-side litigation, with occasional representation of debtors in Chapter 11 cases.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda; argue motions in court.
• Attend depositions and hearings.
• Advise clients on bankruptcy strategy and recovery options.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in bankruptcy law, focusing on creditor-side work.
• Proven ability to first-chair bankruptcy litigation and manage matters independently.
• Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Admission to practice in Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
