Duties

• Draft, negotiate, and oversee surrogacy contracts and related legal documents.
• Supervise the department, coach associates, and maintain quality control.
• Participate in client intake and build relationships with intended parents and professionals.
• Collaborate on business development and marketing outreach.

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of family/divorce law experience, with expertise in New York's surrogacy laws.
• Proven track record in drafting and guiding surrogacy and fertility agreements.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a legal department.
• High emotional intelligence and polished client presence.
• Tech-savvy with case management platforms and e-filing systems.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
