Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of experience in commercial litigation. This role is ideal for an attorney who has handled complex matters in both federal and state courts and is seeking to further develop trial, discovery, and client advocacy skills within a dynamic, collaborative litigation team.

Location:

• Cleveland, Ohio

Duties:

• Handle commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts

• Conduct initial case assessments and investigations

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings

• Manage discovery processes including taking and defending depositions

• Work with expert witnesses in preparation for trial or arbitration

• Represent clients during hearings, trials, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff on case strategy and client communication

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience

• Experience managing litigation matters from inception through trial or resolution

• Proven ability to manage a fast-paced workload and prioritize effectively

• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in client and team interactions

• Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized and accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Ohio

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and trial preparation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
