Closing Paralegal

The candidate' must have at least three years experience as a Closing Paralegal. Must also have experience with preparation of title insurance commitments and policies, title clearance, and disbursing and post-closing. Must pay close attention to detail and be a team player. Experience with Softpro and Microsoft Word skills preferred. Duties : Preparing HUD-1 Closing Statements on Cash and Commercial Closings; Preparing Preliminary Fee Closing Disclosures for submission to Lenders; Collaborating with Lenders to finalize the borrower’s Closing Disclosure; Prepare closing packages & documents for execution at the closing table (i.e. Note, Deeds, Affidavits, Lender Packages, etc.); Prepare title policies (owner & lender) and calculate accurate premiums; Assist with preparation of curative documents when needed.
