Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Review client documents, draft case evaluations, and prepare status reports.
• Assist with mediations, pretrial settlement conferences, and court appearances.
• Engage directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues, and staff.
• Manage a substantive caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.
• Proficient in Lexis and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidently manage hearings in state and federal courts.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and valid Wisconsin State Bar license.
