Labor Relations Counsel
The candidate will be negotiating collective bargaining agreements, advising management on the administration of and compliance with collective bargaining agreements, representing management in grievance meetings and arbitration hearings and proceedings before the NLRB or in court, counseling management on employee discipline, reviewing and drafting collective bargaining agreements, bargaining proposals, grievance resolutions and various written communications and legal documents, analyzing the financial impact of collective bargaining agreement provisions and bargaining proposals and legal research as necessary. Other duties are assigned as deemed necessary and appropriate. Should possess a law degree with 3+ years of experience in labor law and/or labor relations. Experience in collective bargaining negotiations and grievance and arbitration proceedings. Employment law experience is helpful. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
