A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney for its Pre-Litigation department in Charlotte, North Carolina, with hybrid remote options available. This role offers the chance to manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced attorneys in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Represent clients in court hearings and trials.
• Conduct depositions and defend depositions.
• Negotiate case settlements.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Collaborate with a team of paralegals and support staff.

Requirements

• NC & SC Bar Licensure.
• 2 - 5 years of experience managing a large caseload preferred.
• Some experience in litigation preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel frequently to courts across NC and SC.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.
