Duties

• Review and assess new legal files to determine strategy, budgets, and case plans

• Identify necessary pleadings and manage assignments to paralegals

• Draft and respond to discovery, ensuring timely and accurate production

• Attend and report on depositions, hearings, and discovery-related events

• Negotiate settlements, obtain settlement authority, and prepare for trial if needed

• Maintain effective and consistent communication with legal support staff

Requirements

• 3–4 years of litigation experience; insurance defense preferred

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia

• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities independently

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced legal environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Georgia State Bar License (Required)
