Junior To Mid-level Associate - Patent Associate
The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of at least one Bar, preferably Pennsylvania. Should hold a degree in mechanical engineering, have passed the Patent Bar, and have 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution in the area of mechanical inventions in a mid-sized or large law firm or in an IP boutique. Should preferably have experience with both utility and design patent applications. Experience, or at least a strong interest, in supporting litigation, IP issues in corporate transactions, and with drafting IP licenses and other agreements is a plus. Must have strong writing and analytical skills and show a high degree of initiative.
