Associate Attorney needed for San Francisco office

Profile

A law firm in San Francisco is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in labor and employment law, including class action defense and PAGA related matters. Strong litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law will also be considered. The candidate must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. California Bar admission is required.

Duties:

• Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings.
• Draft and argue motions in court.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Handle class action defense and PAGA related matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in California.

Experience:

• 2-7 years of legal experience.
• Significant experience in labor and employment law preferred.
• Familiarity with class action defense and PAGA related matters desired.
