Duties

• Provide sophisticated legal counsel on estate planning, tax planning, and business succession.

• Advise high-net-worth individuals on trust and estate administration.

• Manage complex estate planning matters, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and related documents.

• Oversee projects assigned to junior attorneys and ensure high-quality client service.

• Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive business development efforts.

• Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring timely and effective results.

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

• Stay current on developments in estate planning, tax law, and related areas.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in estate planning at a law firm.

• Extensive experience in estate planning, business succession, and trust and estate administration.

• Proven business development skills with a portable book of business (growth potential).

• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining responsiveness.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to oversee junior attorneys and staff.

• Exceptional attention to detail and client service skills.

• Ability to manage complex cases with a high level of professionalism and proficiency.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
