Duties

• Lead and manage high-level litigation or transactional matters from start to finish, handling cases independently with limited oversight.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster business growth.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys across different practice areas to maximize client opportunities and enhance cross-practice referrals.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to their professional development.
• Contribute to the firm’s overall success by providing leadership, developing practice strategies, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Leverage a firm-wide infrastructure and collaborative culture to enhance your practice and client base.

Requirements

• 7+ years of law firm experience, demonstrating expertise in either litigation, corporate transactions, or related fields.
• Proven ability to independently manage legal matters and deliver results for clients.
• A portable book of business is welcomed.
• Licensed to practice in Texas or Louisiana, or eligible for waiver depending on office location.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Texas or Louisiana.

Skills

• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of guiding and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop new businesses and grow an established practice.
