A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its team, supporting litigation and transactional matters with a focus on business, real estate, trusts, probate, and family law. Duties

• Conduct legal and factual research online and in-office.
• Prepare for closings, hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Draft contracts, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements.
• Manage various legal proceedings, including courtroom and online activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented and organized with attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.

Skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Ability to prepare and negotiate legal documents effectively.
