A law firm seeks a Technical Advisor to join the Patent Prosecution and Litigation Practice Group on the Electrical Engineering and Software Team in Tysons Corner, VA. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies, including 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards, to support patent prosecution and litigation efforts.

Duties

• Draft and prosecute patent applications.
• Collaborate with legal and technical teams on patent litigation matters.
• Conduct technical research and analysis related to patent cases.
• Provide technical expertise in wireless communication standards.

Requirements

• 1-6 years of experience in a related field.
• Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar.
• Experience with IP drafting and patent prosecution.
• Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus.
• Wireless communication experience in 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards is desired.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Education

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Certifications

• Relevant certifications in patent law or engineering are advantageous.
