Duties

• Represent clients in litigation in state and federal courts, and administrative agencies.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
• Manage day-to-day case activities.
• Participate in case strategy discussions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Collaborate with local counsel.

Requirements

• 5 to 10+ years of litigation or related experience.
• Strong legal writing skills.
• Experience with depositions, court appearances, and motion arguments.
• Juris doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Virginia State Bar.

Education

• Juris doctor degree from an accredited law school.
