Manager STS Research & Development (R&D)

The candidate will help clients identify, document, and support tax positions related to this specialty’s area of tax law upon examination and at appeals. Assist with developing and driving related business development, process improvement, and team-building initiatives. Bachelor’s degree is required; degree with a focus in Accounting, Tax or Finance is preferred, Master’s degree is preferred. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) is preferred. Should have 6+ years of experience. Experience in accounting, tax, or finance is preferred. Experience in R&D tax consulting is preferred. Experience supervising tax consulting professionals is required. Experience preparing and/or reviewing tax provisions is preferred. Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships is preferred. Experience with tax related software and research databases such as Caseware, GoSystems, and other comparable programs is preferred. CPA certification is preferred. Enroll Agent is preferred.
