Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and union representatives

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Conduct legal research and analysis

• Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence

• Assist in preparing for and participating in hearings and administrative proceedings

• Advocate for clients in litigation and administrative matters

• Take on increasing responsibility for cases and client matters as experience allows

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of legal experience

• Strong work ethic and ability to manage tasks independently

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, public interest law, or employee rights

• Patience and professionalism when communicating with clients and adversaries

• Admission to the California Bar or intent to take the July 2025 California Bar Exam

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar Admission (or pending)

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and writing abilities

• Ability to quickly absorb legal concepts and follow guidance

• Strong interpersonal communication and client-relations skills

• Conversational Spanish (preferred but not required)

• Experience in labor unions, public interest organizations, or judicial clerkships/externships (preferred)

• Law Review or similar academic legal experience (preferred)
