The intern's responsibilities may include planning and supporting events such as town hall meetings, answering phones, attending local community meetings, entering data, and assisting staff with constituent casework and correspondence. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about constituent services offered by the district office. Should have a positive attitude and friendly demeanor, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service. Hours for interns will depend on the availability of the applicant. The office may accommodate interns who are available only part time.
