Description
The Strategy Advancement Analyst provides data and research-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. It also provides strategic initiative and business intelligence support for the IT organization to successfully execute its strategy. Work assignments for the Strategy Advancement Analyst are varied and the best candidate is one who demonstrates critical thinking, ability to execute with minimal supervision, astute problem solving, a 'let's go' attitude, and a collaborative approach to work.
Responsibilities
Come join our team in this exciting new role! Humana's IT organization is undergoing a multi-year transformation journey to develop a cloud-based and platform-centric technology ecosystem while transitioning to agile ways of working. The Strategy Advancement Analyst will support the strategy planning and execution efforts of the organization, under the direction of the IT Chief of Staff. This role involves juggling multiple tasks, and even projects, therefore strong organization skills are a must.
Duties will be varied and will include:
Conduct market research on best practices regarding IT talent management, organizational effectiveness measures, organizational change management and communications, culture-related topics, and much more
Support the IT executive team's efforts to oversee and manage the execution of the organization's strategic priorities and initiatives
Create artifacts and analyses that will bring executive and organizational clarity into overall operational performance
Serve as a project analyst in support of initiatives owned or championed by the IT Chief of Staff, which may include initiative planning, providing data analysis, documentation, Kanban board management, financial reviews, and progress monitoring
Prepare process documentations and process improvement recommendations for practices related to strategy management and organizational change management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
Less than five years of technical or project management / Kanban / scrum experience
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Proven effectiveness working in a team environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving processes and customer experiences
