Corporate/Transactional Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with at least two years of corporate and transactional experience to join their team in Winston-Salem, NC or Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and communication skills, and be admitted to practice in North Carolina or eligible for admission.

Duties

• Provide solutions to clients' legal issues through high-quality legal work.
• Research, draft, review, negotiate, and advise on complex contracts and commercial law matters.
• Interpret and explain the law in an engaging manner for clients.
• Build business through client relationships and business development strategies.
• Assist partners with research and drafting for manuscripts and presentations.
• Perform other legal functions and special projects as needed.
• Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Admitted to practice in North Carolina or willing to obtain admission.

Education

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in North Carolina.
