Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its Real Estate Group in Orlando, Florida. This position offers the chance to engage in sophisticated real estate transactions for a diverse clientele, including regional, national, and multinational companies. The ideal candidate will possess strong transactional experience, excellent drafting skills, and a collaborative approach to client service.

Duties

• Handle a variety of real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, development, leases, finance, and joint ventures.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, easements, declarations, closing, and loan documents.
• Conduct real estate diligence review, including title and survey review, corporate governance, and authority review.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
• Manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.
• Experience with mixed-use projects and complex transactions preferred.
• Home builder and community development experience is a plus.
• Real estate finance and hospitality experience are advantageous.
• Experience with zoning and land use is beneficial.
• AmLaw 100 law firm experience is strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
