A law firm seeks an associate litigation attorney for its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will join the general liability and casualty defense practice group, bringing 3-5 years of civil litigation experience to the team.

Duties

• Manage cases proactively from start to finish in state and federal courts
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions
• Communicate frequently with clients
• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis and case evaluations
• Coordinate and collaborate with expert witnesses
• Attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations
• Prepare for and attend trials

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Texas
• 3-5 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts
• Insurance defense experience preferred
• Ability to manage caseload proactively
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent research, written, and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to exceptional client service and development

Education

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
