A law firm seeks a detail-oriented Internal Document Review Attorney for their Workers' Compensation practice in Burbank, CA. This remote position requires a California State Bar membership and offers an opportunity to support litigation strategy through comprehensive document analysis.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of case files, discovery responses, medical records, and other litigation-related documents.
• Identify relevant facts and key issues to support trial attorneys in hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
• Draft concise case summaries and recommendations for litigation strategy.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in internal case documentation and legal records.
• Collaborate with trial representatives, paralegals, and managing attorneys for effective case preparation.
• Assist in the preparation of exhibits and supporting documentation for trial.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling client information.

Requirements

• Active member of the California State Bar (in good standing).
• 1-3+ years of legal experience; prior exposure to Workers' Compensation law preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents efficiently.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with attorneys and staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar membership.
