Duties:

• Handle insurance defense litigation matters, with a focus on automobile insurance claims

• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions

• Conduct legal research and analysis on case law and statutes

• Manage discovery, including depositions and interrogatories

• Appear in court for case management conferences, hearings, and trials

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary professionally and efficiently

• Assist in trial preparation and potentially participate in trials under supervision

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense

• Prior experience with auto insurance cases strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage case files and court deadlines independently

• Familiarity with New Jersey court procedures

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the state of New Jersey (active and in good standing)

Skills:

• Strong oral advocacy and legal writing capabilities

• Proficiency in drafting motions and handling depositions

• Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex legal issues

• Ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative legal team

• Professional interpersonal and negotiation skills
