This hybrid role offers the opportunity to help clients create personalized estate plans and guide families through probate and trust administration. Duties

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on estate planning, probate, and trust administration

  • Meet with clients to develop personalized estate plans and explain legal tools in clear, simple language

  • Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents and ensure funding coordination

  • Supervise the execution and implementation of estate plans

  • Assist clients and families with probate and trust administration matters

  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure high-quality and timely client service

  • Conduct client education workshops and contribute to community engagement initiatives

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and uphold a high standard of legal ethics and client care

  • Participate in team meetings to share feedback and improve firm processes

Requirements

  • Legal experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first attitude

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina

  • Good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
