Job Title: Appearance Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm specializing in foreclosure cases seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Appearance Attorney to join their team in New York City. The successful candidate will represent the firm's clients in court proceedings, communicate with clients and adversaries, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Managing Attorney of New York Foreclosure.
• Review loan documents in detail to identify missing components and address client issues.
• Communicate professionally with clients, referees, and adversaries.
• Prepare for and appear in court for foreclosure conferences, settlement conferences, and motion hearings.
• Provide timely summaries of hearings and case outcomes.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Must possess a vehicle or reliable means of transportation.

Skills:

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws about foreclosure proceedings.
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently.
