Associate Attorney needed for Upland office

A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Upland, CA location. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing a large caseload, primarily in the areas of general civil law and family law. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience practicing in these areas and must be capable of handling a significant workload effectively.

Duties:

• Manage a large caseload encompassing general civil law and family law matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and development.
• Ensure compliance with legal deadlines and requirements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience practicing in general civil law and family law.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a large caseload effectively.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
