Job Overview: A prestigious law firm based in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney. This role involves offering comprehensive legal guidance to healthcare providers, specialty practices, and vendors to ensure compliance with both state and federal healthcare regulations.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice on complex healthcare regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with federal and state healthcare laws.
• Counsel healthcare providers on regulations such as HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other relevant healthcare laws.
• Assist with compliance audits, investigations, and risk management strategies.
• Handle healthcare transactions, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to address multidisciplinary legal matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience practicing healthcare regulatory law.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations.
• Experience advising healthcare providers, specialty practices, and other stakeholders on compliance and regulatory issues.
• Familiarity with agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and relevant state-level healthcare bodies.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
