Job Title: Employment Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm located in Chatham, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated Employment Litigation Associate with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience to join its labor and employment practice group. This hybrid role focuses on representing private sector corporate clients in New Jersey and New York across all phases of litigation. Duties:

• Draft legal pleadings, briefs, and motion papers

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis

• Prepare and respond to discovery, including electronically stored information (ESI)

• Assist with mediation, deposition preparation, and related pre-trial procedures

• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and mediations when needed

• Manage all litigation phases, including trial preparation

• Handle matters involving lawsuits, government agency charges (e.g., EEO, DOL), subpoenas, and pre-litigation demands

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in employment law litigation

• Maximum 6 years of experience considered

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar

• Admission to the New York Bar is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in New Jersey

• New York admission is a plus

Job Location:
