Duties

• Handle a full caseload of insurance defense files from inception through trial or settlement

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence

• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions

• Conduct legal research and formulate case strategy

• Engage in client communication and manage relationships with insurance carriers

• Appear in court and serve as first chair trial counsel as appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense

• Proficiency in handling auto liability, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party claims

• Familiarity with Pennsylvania civil procedure and local court rules

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously

• Willingness to travel for court appearances and meetings across office locations

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• Member in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar
