The role requires hands-on litigation experience in federal courts, with opportunities to contribute to high-impact commercial disputes, regulatory defense, and government investigations. Duties:

• Prepare and draft legal motions for matters in state and federal courts

• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to document requests and interrogatories

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Support legal proceedings, including commercial arbitration and government-led inquiries

• Draft client correspondence and court communications

• Assist in developing litigation strategy and negotiating settlements

• Collaborate with senior attorneys during trial preparation and hearings

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the State of New York

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in federal court

• Prior exposure to commercial disputes and/or investigatory proceedings (e.g., roles in prosecutorial or government agencies) preferred

• Healthcare or life sciences industry knowledge is advantageous

• Demonstrated excellence in legal writing and research

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
