Profile

A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney to join their team in Tampa, FL. This role offers the opportunity to represent healthcare clients, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and physicians, in a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, binding arbitration, and administrative proceedings. The position provides a dynamic work environment where attorneys are encouraged to manage their caseload independently while receiving support and mentorship from senior attorneys.

Duties

• Represent healthcare clients in court, before government agencies, and in administrative hearings.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring all matters are handled effectively and efficiently.
• Attend and participate in hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements for ongoing legal disputes.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

Requirements

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to solve complex legal issues.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive work ethic and a commitment to providing top-notch legal services.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Florida (Florida Bar).
