Duties

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research.
• Develop and present defense strategies independently on behalf of clients.
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Provide timely communications, legal advice, and services to clients and claims personnel.
• Communicate effectively with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Ensure prompt and effective disposition of assigned cases.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission to the bar in the applicable state; additional admissions in PA, DE, or WV are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance defense or a related setting.
• Litigation experience, including depositions, discovery, and oral arguments.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent work ethic.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
