Job Title: Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A prominent law firm located in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Litigation group. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong science background, specifically those with experience in complex litigation related to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing support and oversight on case matters.
• Collaborate with experts to develop case strategies and provide insights on scientific and technical issues.
• Assist in fact development and depositions to gather necessary information for litigation.
• Review and draft various legal documents, including discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Play an active role in formulating and implementing case strategies, including participating in discussions on settlement and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic credentials from nationally recognized law schools.
• Must possess an MD, MPH, PharmD, or degree in Epidemiology.
• Admitted to practice law in Minnesota.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained in an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Proven experience in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Strong background and understanding of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Advanced degree (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology) required.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota.
