Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving diverse employment-related claims and discrimination charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, before agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration for employment matters.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Current AL bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Alabama State Bar.
